03 · Fit, check and hand over
The agreed fitting work, removal arrangements and making good should be set out in your quotation. At handover, check operation, locks and keys, and keep your product warranty and care instructions.

Is aluminium always better than composite?
No. Aluminium may suit a larger architectural entrance or a particular finish, while composite can offer many traditional styles. Compare the look, dimensions, whole-door performance, maintenance and total installed price for your home.
Can I have an oversized entrance door?
Possibly. The limit depends on the chosen system, panel, hinge arrangement and exposure. A very large opening may be better resolved with sidelights or a different configuration. A survey and manufacturer confirmation are required.
Can the entrance and garage doors match?
We can help coordinate colours and styles. A nominal RAL match does not guarantee identical sheen or texture between manufacturers, so compare physical samples where a close match is important.
What should I send for an initial estimate?
A full photograph of the entrance, your postcode, an approximate width and height if safely available, and a note of the style you like. Include any side panels or fanlights. These are initial details, not final manufacturing dimensions.
Is a smart lock included?
Only if specified. Electronic access, fingerprint readers and other upgrades depend on the door system. Your written quotation should identify the exact equipment and any power-supply or installation requirements.
Can I choose a RAL colour?
RAL colour availability depends on the range and finish. Ask for a physical sample and check how the door and frame will look alongside your existing windows.
