How do I compare composite door constructions?
Compare the specific range’s tested performance, finish options, warranty and maintenance requirements. Core material or thickness alone does not establish which complete door is more secure or warmer.
Can I keep my existing frame?
A replacement front door is commonly supplied as a matching frame and slab. Reusing a frame can affect compatibility, weather sealing and the stated performance. We will confirm the appropriate approach after looking at your opening.
Will a composite door need maintenance?
Yes. Wash the surface as recommended by the manufacturer, clear drainage channels, check seals and maintain hardware. Avoid abrasive products and unapproved lubricants. Exact care instructions depend on the chosen finish and hardware.
Can I order a door with sidelights?
Usually, subject to the range and opening. Send a photograph showing the whole entrance and any glass above or beside the door. Final frame sizes and any structural requirements are confirmed before manufacture.
Can you supply without fitting?
Yes. Tell us whether your own installer will survey and fit the door. The estimate will make clear who supplies measurements, what is included and where responsibility for installation sits.
