Information you give us
When you contact us or request an estimate, we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, telephone number, project postcode, product and service preferences, approximate dimensions, timing, notes and any photographs you upload. A form may also record the referring page and a submission reference.
Please avoid including people, identity documents or other sensitive information in project photographs. Remove embedded location information from photographs if you do not wish to share it.
How we use your information
We use enquiry details to respond to you, assess your requirements, prepare quotations and arrange requested surveys, supply or installation. This includes taking steps at your request before a contract and administering an order. We also use information for legitimate business purposes such as handling aftercare enquiries, preventing misuse and keeping appropriate records, and where required to meet legal obligations.
Hosting and form services
The public website and its enquiry forms are hosted by Netlify. Form submissions and attachments are processed by that service so our team can access and respond to your enquiry. Hosting providers may process technical data such as your IP address, browser information and request logs for operation, security and abuse prevention. Uploaded project photos are not automatically published in our customer gallery.
We may share relevant project details with suppliers or installers where needed to respond to your request or fulfil an order. We do not sell enquiry details.
Third-party services
This website links to WhatsApp, our door designer and our sister brand, Bifolds & More. These services receive information when you choose to use them and operate under their own privacy notices. Bifolds & More is also operated by Door Central Ltd.
Embedded maps load content from Google. Loading or interacting with third-party content may share technical information with that provider and allow it to use cookies or similar technologies. Your browser settings and the provider’s controls govern those technologies.
Cookies and browser storage
Hosting, security, embedded maps and linked third-party services may use cookies or similar technologies. Your browser can block or delete cookies; some third-party features may then work differently. Consult the relevant provider’s privacy information when using their services.
Retention and international processing
We retain information for as long as needed for the enquiry, order, aftercare, record-keeping and applicable legal obligations. The appropriate period depends on the type of record and its purpose. Contact us to discuss a particular record or request deletion.
Our service providers may process information outside the UK. Where required, appropriate safeguards must apply to those transfers. Contact us for information about the providers used for your enquiry.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct or delete personal information, restrict or object to processing, or receive a portable copy. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it. Some requests are subject to legal exceptions.
Contact us first using the details above. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
